Vicki Whaley
When asked, Vicki said: “I remember as a teenager thinking, “one day I’ll do yoga”… 30 years later, in 2008 she signed up for her first class here at White Wolf Gym! Selling insurance, Vicki sits a lot, and was experiencing a lot of pain in her body, so she committed to try yoga two days a week. Knowing very little about yoga, she thought it was mainly stretching. About a month in she was surprised at how much stronger she was! A few months later she noticed her breathing was slower and she was handling her stress better, plus she had a wonderful sense of well- being ~ she was hooked!
In 2018, at the 10 year mark, she decided to make it official. Going to the source, she attended an Ashram in India, and completing her 200-hour course. Vicki is officially certified to teach yoga!
Vicki is excited to continue her pursuit of a lifestyle that nourishes her body, mind and spirit, and is eager to share the amazing experience and lifestyle of Yoga with any who wish to try it! Please join her sometime! There are all ages, levels and gender – no judgement or competition. Plus, they keep their eyes closed much of the time!
